that ever happened to me: Meeting the cast from The Wire while watching The Wire. I went to a viewing and discussion of my favorite cable TV series and Homicide: Life on the Street. It turned into a full-on cast reunion from Season 4 of The Wire. Tyrell Baker (Lil’ Kevin),Tray Chaney (Poot), Nathan Corbett (Donut), and Julito McCullum (Namond) all showed up and introduced themselves to the organizer and a few fans. They all apparently hadn’t all been in the same place since they were shooting the show 20 years ago. Ralph Alvarez, who wrote the teleplay for the Homicide Season 6 episode, “All is Bright,” talked about that episode as the Season 1 episode “See No Evil” plays in the background.
